Well contoured all round
The distribution of fat on the body plays an essential role in the body image of many people. Unwanted fatty deposits are generally located on the stomach, hips, waist or thighs. Even well-disciplined people sometimes have to fight with small but stubborn fat zones. The absence of fat in certain parts of the body, such as buttocks that are perceived as flat, can have a negative impact on a person’s wellbeing. Body-Jet® enables extensive body contouring. Using water-jet assisted liposuction, autologous fat is gently removed from sites where it is not wanted and inserted into those body parts where it is wanted. This allows individualised and targeted contouring of your body.Problem Zones
Holistic body contouring
Even a well-trained body of normal weight can have what are referred to as problem zones. These usually cannot be eliminated by diet or exercise. These exercise- and diet-resistant fat deposits are usually located on parts of the body where they are perceived as annoying.
Using the precise power of the water-jet, unwanted fatty tissue can be gently detached from the subcutaneous tissue for permanent removal. The surrounding subcutaneous tissue, the nerves and blood vessels remain largely undamaged. With water-jet assisted liposuction the negative impact on the body of the tumescence solution that is left in the body is almost avoided (read more here).
The body appears slimmer and the proportions become more harmonious. Nevertheless, treatment with Body-Jet® is not a substitute for a healthy diet and adequate exercise. Body-Jet® is also not an alternative for treating excess weight or obesity.
Gynaecomastia
Breast reduction in men
Gynaecomastia is a benign enlargement of male breast glands. It can occur on one side or on both sides. True gynaecomastia due to an increase in the glandular tissue must be differentiated from psuedogynaecomastia due to the deposition of fat.
The former is generally due to hormonal disorders, chronic diseases or side effects of certain medications. Gynaecomastia due to the deposition of fat, also known as lipomastia (enlargement of the breast by fatty tissue), occurs predominantly in those who are overweight or obese.
In many men the breast gland is so enlarged that the breast develops the appearance and shape of a female breast. Many of the men who are affected by this change in the appearance of the breast find it very unpleasant and their feelings of self worth can be considerably impacted.
The excess breast glandular and fatty tissue can be gently removed using the minimally invasive water-jet assisted liposuction, a process that also leaves little scarring. The precise power of the water-jet is recommended particularly for men because of the firm connective tissue. The pressure of the fine, fan-shaped water-jet can be adjusted to the different connective tissue structures so that fat cells can be selectively detached from the tissue and suctioned off at the same time. The surrounding subcutaneous fatty tissue, the nerves and blood vessels remain largely undamaged.
Six Pack
Abdominal sculpting for men (six pack)
Even fit men with a normal weight have to battle with small but stubborn fat pads on the abdomen. Generally, these fat pads cannot be eliminated with diet or exercise. These fatty deposits, which are resistant to sport or diet, sit on the hips or stomach. Using the gentle force of the waterjet, excess fat that is located directly above the abdominal muscle area and beneath the skin (subcutaneous) is removed very precisely and specifically. The naturally present abdominal musculature is carved out and existing muscle areas are accentuated.
.Lipoedema
Fat distribution disorder
Lipoedema is probably an inherited chronic fat distribution disorder that almost exclusively affects women. Along with a suspected genetic predisposition, changes in hormones and weight increases are thought to be potential causes.
Lipoedema is quite often seen in the form of disproportionately fat legs while the trunk is often slim. Along with a figure that appears out of proportion as a whole, the thighs and calves of those affected feel tight and heavy as well as being tender to touch and movement. What is noteworthy is that the area around the ankles and the feet themselves are not affected, leading to the fatty tissue forming a cuff at the ankles. This is the consequence of water deposits (oedema) in the fatty tissue, which is pathologically increased. Other extremities, including the arms, can also be affected by the disorder.
Another symptom of lipoedema is the development of bruising after even the smallest of bumps.
When treating lipoedema, significantly larger quantities of fat must usually be removed compared to surgery for aesthetic reasons.
The excessive body fat that has developed pathologically can be removed with the help of water-jet assisted liposuction in a way that is particularly gentle, fast and safe. The technique uses the gentle power of the water-jet. Unlike conventional liposuction techniques, the fat is removed from the body using considerably less force and with a clearly reduced risk of developing side effects. Considerably less tumescence fluid is injected into the body before the procedure. The procedure itself can be done under local anaesthetic (general anaesthetic not required) which minimises the medication stress. Because the rinsing and suctioning of the fat cells is done in parallel, the time spent in surgery can also be significantly reduced. Read more about the technique here.

Buttocks
A well-shaped bottom
The bottom is a body part that is considered particularly attractive. The shape of the buttocks that is perceived as being the most attractive depends on the cultural environment and personal taste.
Those with a rather flat bottom who prefer a round and full shape can have their buttocks padded with autologous fat. It must be ensured when doing so that the autologous fat is suctioned off as gently as possible and immediately injected into the buttocks.
Fat transfer from stomach to bottom
While conventional liposuction methods usually damage many of the fat cells, with waterjet-assisted liposuction most of the fat cells are preserved. The less damaged and more vital the suctioned autologous fat, the better the prospects of the injected fat cells growing successfully and permanently. Permanent growth is only possible with undamaged fat cells because the body breaks down any that have been damaged.
Lips
Sensuous mouth
Plump, evenly curved lips are considered particularly sensuous. People with very thin lips or lips that differ greatly in size can plump up their lips or even out asymmetries using autologous fat. This involves injecting into the lips autologous fat that has previously been removed from other sites on the body using liposuction. One benefit of injections using autologous fat is that there is no need to fear inflammations or allergic reactions. Read more about autologous fat transfer here.
Scar smoothing
Autologous fat: rejuvenates and balances
Deep injuries to the skin leave behind a permanent scar in most cases. Recessed scars (sunken into the skin) can be filled out with autologous fat and in this way elevated to the normal level of the skin. Even hard or bulging scars become softer after being filled out with autologous fat. The appearance of scars can also be improved considerably with autologous fat, because the stem cells present in the autologous fat have a rejuvenating effect on the skin.
Because the process uses autologous fat, allergic reactions or other rejection reactions need not be feared.
Wound Treatment
Wound treatment
Autologous fatty tissue can also be used to heal chronic, non-healing wounds. Injection of autologous fat near a wound was carried out, for example, with diabetic wounds with great success.
Hyperhidrosis
Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating)
People who suffer from excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) often feel restricted in their social lives. One type of hyperhidrosis is sweaty armpits (axillary hyperhidrosis). Those affected suffer mostly from wet clothing, visible sweat stains and unpleasant body odour.
The increased sweating can be attributed to various causes: in some cases it is an accompanying symptom of diseases (hyperthyroidism, hormonal disorders, obesity, diabetes or hypertension), of medications or a mental disorder.
Unlike treatment with botulinum toxin (Botox), water-jet assisted sweat gland dissection provides permanent relief. With water-jet assisted dissection of the sweat glands, the skin under the armpit is evenly detached from the underlying tissue using the fine, fan-shaped water-jet. The supply nerves are severed in the process, which eases the subsequent dissection of the sweat glands. The precise power of the water-jet is recommended here particularly for the firm connective tissue under the armpits.
